At Trulo, we believe dating should be exciting, natural, and above all, deeply safe. The online dating space has historically failed to adequately protect its users from fraud, harassment, and physical danger. We are taking a radically different approach.
Mandatory ID Verification
Every single person on Trulo has to pass a secure, third-party ID check. We verify that they are a real person and that the age on their profile strictly matches their government ID. If they don't pass, they don't get an account. Simple as that.
Personal Audit Trail
Meeting a stranger from the internet carries inherent risk. To mitigate this, Trulo includes a secure Audit Trail feature. Before your date, tell the app where you're going and who you are meeting. This creates a secure offline ledger that gives you an added layer of peace of mind.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Trulo does not tolerate abuse, harassment, fraud, or inappropriate behavior. Because our platform requires ID verification, getting banned from Trulo means being banned permanently. It is much harder for bad actors to simply spin up a new account.
Data Privacy
We use your ID solely to verify your authenticity. This sensitive physical identity data is processed securely by our verification partners and is strictly protected. Report and Block
If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, behaves inappropriately, or violates our terms of service, you can easily block and report them directly from their profile or your chat window. Our Trust & Safety team reviews all reports swiftly to ensure the community remains safe.
